Along with a new title I have also taken another new class Intaglio Printing. I wish I had taken this when I was much younger but I did enjoy and my only regret was the time limitation I experienced because of working full time. I would have dedicated a larger lot of my time if it was feasible. This is my first monotype. I do enjoy the fact that this type of printing can be done anywhere. This is titled “8:45 NYC”
What a thrill for me to be able to incorporate a new medium into my artistic tool box. It seems every time I learn a new medium it becomes my favorite and although my absolute favorite is drawing I am excited to incorporate all of the techniques into one masterpiece. This piece is from class, a post card assignment. I painted each one separately to make it more challenging and also to let each individual 5×7 piece stand alone as an abstraction but when I finished and it was time to cut them up I liked it so much I didn’t have the heart to separate them…maybe later.

This is my latest piece. Last semester I had the opportunity to experience watercolor for the first time. My professor was excellent (as usual) I have had this professor for several semesters in different genres and he is so knowledgable.
I am back after a long hiatus…work and college are taking their toll on me but I am so close to graduating. This is part of a series in watercolors,my first attempt with this genre of art.
